Do you play World of Warcraft? Do you play on a Mac? Do you want to listen to music from the game on your iPod? Jean-François has the solution over at his blog.MPQ Extractor 1.0!

Update: Jean-François has suggested that it is easier to use MPQFS. I haven’t test this however.

I’d recommend using MPQFS instead. It’s much faster than extracting the monolithic data archives!

I would have to agree now. After posting this, I used MPQ Extractor to extract the data files from WoW and BC, and it took me about 3 hours to get the lot, and also a lot of hard drive space! just for the music.

Thanks Jean-François 🙂
