1983 D&D Commercial

December 18, 2006 at 13:07 · Filed under gaming

A 1983 Dungeons & Dragons commercial has found its way to YouTube.

Those were the days when games like this used your imagination, and parents where worried about kids taking up real swords! I remember my mother taking me out of a D&D game, and that was the last time I ever played it. Now where is my 1d20?

Sad thing is I still have all of my AD&D gear. The Dungeon Master Handbook, Players Handbook, and Monster Manual. 🙂 I can lend you a D20 if you need, I still use them with Warmachine, http://www.privateerpress.com/ I will need to get some pics up on photobucket of my armies. COUGH.. nerd… COUGH.

My wife just watches on and asks me what the difference is between this and two kids playing plastic cowboys and indians. I tell her that these figures are made of pewter. 🙂

Sadly my AD&D gaming has led me to other ways to waste my money. I’m no longer in the market for a 1d20 as its all calculated by my CPU.
